Best Haunted Places To Visit In Chennai

Haunted, supernatural, creepy, eerie, spirits, demons, sinister !!!!

These are the words we hear when someone narrates any horror story. It may be a personal experience or a fictional story that someone else narrated to them.

Though every story is not very creepy there are some that can keep you wide awake at night.

Just like stories, there are so many places in the world, where just a voluntarily visit is enough to make you sick to your stomach (That’s true!).

Places that are enough to haunt you and God forbid, if you experience anything supernatural there, you would probably pee in your pants (well!) and if not that you would definitely be sleep-deprived, wondering, what if you close your eyes and someone comes crawling through your door and rip your face off or you hear a baby’s cry deep in the dark or you witness someone sitting at the end of your bed.

These are some consequences of visiting a haunted place. But if you really want some eerie experience, visiting a haunted place is not at all a bad idea and there are some places in Chennai that will do the work for you next time you book flight tickets to India.

This is not about a haunted house or a haunted street but a whole colony that has been abandoned by the locales.

There are no lights on the streets and De Monte is said to be taking a stroll at midnight on the roads of the colony. So, book cheap airline tickets to India and have a great scare.

Broken Bridge

Broken Bridge is a perfect mixture of beauty and haunting. This is a place where so many movies have been shot in the past and it is perfect for a spooky picture but this broken bridge over the Adyar River is not the best place to visit at night as so many paranormal activities are said to occur there.

Madras Christian College

People have experienced supernatural presence there. Doors/windows slam shut by themselves and sometimes they hear a girl sobbing softly. Next time you fly to India, visit here.

KarikattuKupam

A devastating Tsunami in 2004 wrecked this place leaving many people to die.

To this day, the place is haunted by the ghosts of the dead people. Especially an old man along with two children.
