The club is the centrepiece of United\u2019s rebuild of Terminal B North.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>New United Airlines Lounge at Houston Airport<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At 54,000 square feet, the new United Club in Terminal B North at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is the biggest club United has built, and the airline says it is the largest of any airline in the Americas. You scan your boarding pass at the entry kiosks, then ride an escalator up to the mezzanine. The entrance is after security, near Gate B11.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are seats for 800 people, so you can eat, work or just sit before your flight without circling for a chair. Two full-service bars and buffet stations cover food and drinks, and eleven private phone booths give you somewhere quiet for a call. Its centrepiece is the new North Concourse, three levels and 765,000 square feet, with 22 mainline gates. The building replaces facilities that date to 1969. The larger gates let United fly bigger, more modern aircraft with more seats.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More than 105,000 square feet go to shops and restaurants that reflect Houston\u2019s food scene. Local names include B&amp;B Butchers &amp; Restaurant, Blood Bros. BBQ and Katz Coffee, so you can eat well before you board. Ten large art installations tell the story of the city\u2019s history, culture and landscape. Families get a play area, and anyone who needs quiet can use the new sensory room. For a hub that handles this many connections, that is a real change in how a layover feels.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Who Is Eligible for United Club Access at Houston Airport?\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Premium cabin customers on select flights, United Club members, one-time passholders and eligible Star Alliance Gold members can enter the new United Club. Standard United Club rules apply, and in every case you need a same-day boarding pass. Your boarding pass has to be for a flight on United, a Star Alliance airline or one of United\u2019s partner carriers.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Club membership<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 All Access members can bring up to two adult guests, or one adult and dependents under 18, and they can also use Star Alliance partner lounges.
