This shall be applicable with effect from May 4.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">American Airlines and Southwest Airlines will adopt this face mask policy from May 11. However, Jet blue airlines started the use of the face masks from April itself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per a statement issued by the president of Jet Blue Airlines, before you book\u00a0 your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flyopedia.com\/last-minute-flights-to-india\"><strong>last minute flight tickets to India <\/strong><\/a>wearing of face mask is important as it will save not only you but also the fellow passengers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will intimate the passengers of any further change in the travel requirement via email before the actual flight departure. Terminal signage and announcements will tell the travellers at the airport in addition to this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, the airlines will keep handy some of the masks for the travellers, it would be better if the passengers carry masks of their own. Allegiant Airlines<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(i)<\/strong> However, the use of masks has not been made mandatory for the crew, but the use of the same is highly encouraged.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(ii)<\/strong> As per the information, the airlines have taken the initiative to supply passengers with gloves, masks, and hand wipes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(iii)<\/strong> The attendants make sure that booking of middle seats is not allowed and that a proper social distancing is maintained between the two adjacent passengers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(iv)<\/strong> Also, you can consume the food sold in packed containers only.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Alaska_Airlines\"><\/span><b>2. Alaska Airlines<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(i)<\/strong> With effect from May 4, the passengers and the crew members who are unable to maintain the recommended six feet distance from the fellow travellers have to wear a face mask.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(ii)<\/strong> We ban booking on middle seats for aircraft with such seats, and we block aisles seats for those without.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(iii)<\/strong> Limited access to lounges and onboard food facilities<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_American_Airlines\"><\/span><b>3. American Airlines<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(i)<\/strong> The flight attendants must wear a mask from May 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(ii)<\/strong> The airlines will issue masks and wipes to each passenger, and they will ask passengers to carry their own masks from May 11.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(iii)<\/strong> There will be lower access to in-flight meals and lounges.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Delta_Airlines\"><\/span><b>4. Delta Airlines<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(i)<\/strong> The crew members shall wear a mask if they are unable to make a minimum distance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(ii)<\/strong> The airlines will also issue masks to the passengers and shall include hand cleanser and cleansing towels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(iii)<\/strong> Moreover, the options for food and beverages remain limited.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(iv)<\/strong> Middle seats in all the flights are blocked.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not only the above mentioned, but airlines like Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hawaiian_Airlines\"><strong>Hawaiian Airlines<\/strong><\/a>, Spirit Airlines, and United Airlines have also made mandatory changes in
