Bull Temple / Basavanagudi Nandi Temple
This temple is located at the top hill of Basavanagudi. This temple is dedicated to the bull, Nandi, also known as the vehicle of Lord Shiva. Although small in size, this temple has the largest Nandi statues that measure 6 meters in length and 4.5 meters in height. Other than this, the temple also has idols for God Chandra and Surya on their chariots. The tower was constructed in the early 20th century and has figures of Gods, and motifs. During the months of November and December, the farmers of the nearby areas, organize a Groundnut fair and offer a part of their first harvest to the bull.
Bangalore Palace
