Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is a military-civil airfield. The facility operates about 343 nonstop departures each day. SLC serves as a hub for major airlines such as Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and Southwest amongst others.

Terminal
The Airport has two terminals, i.e. 1 and 2. In addition, there is also an International terminal. Three airlines, i.e. Delta Air Lines, SkyWest Airlines, and KLM use Terminal 2.
If you book airplane tickets for airlines other than these, you will operate from Terminal 1. On the other hand, the International Terminal facilitates international traffic movement.

Runways
There are 4 runways. Out of which one is a general aviation runway. The other three are air carrier runways. All the runways are positioned in accordance with the direction of prevailing winds, i.e. North-North-West and South-South-East.
16L/34R is the longest runway with a length of 12003 feet. Following closely is the 16R/34L runway at 12000 feet. Next comes 17/35 which is 9596 feet. Finally, the shortest runway is 14/32 measuring 4900 feet.
Parking
Adjacent to the terminals, you shall find short-term parking. On the lower level, you will come across the car rental companies.
On the other hand, long-term parking is in the terminal building, to the south and west. You can commute to the parking using a shuttle service. The shuttle frequency is five minutes and is free.
General Aviation Facilities
Two full-service fixed base operators are to the east of the airfield. They cater to the flying requirements such as aircraft maintenance, storage, etc. of private aviators.
Further, the north end houses all the cargo companies. The airport also has support facilities such as fire stations, aircraft rescue, and fire fighting training centre, United States Post Office, and so on.

This take-out outlet belongs to the celebrity Chef, Cat Cora. If you are health-conscious, this is the place for you. You can get a variety of sandwiches, salads, and more.
To reach the place, you need to head over to Terminal 2. Find the upper-level Rotunda Area inside the International Terminal. The store operates from 6 am to 10.30 pm.
5. Cat Cora’s Kitchen
This Cat Cora outlet offers a sophisticated dining experience. The restaurant uses environment-friendly utensils, napkins, and so on. As for the food, you may be in for the best cocktail of your life.
Organic and fresh ingredients make your meals finger-licking food. It is located in Terminal 1, at the lower level of Concourse F. Cat Cora’s Kitchen is open between 6 am and 10 pm.
6. French Meadow Bakery

7. Fresh Market
The on-the-go store serves you natural food snacks and packaged deli food. You can pick up your favourite snack at Concourse G in Terminal 1.

8. Gordon Biersch Brewery
